Return Request Details / Return Authorization Details

This page creates return requests or return authorizations. The user's security level determines whether the use can request a return or authorize a return. Return requests are initiated by clicking the Request Return menu option. Return authorizations are initiated by clicking the Process Return menu option.

Note: The user's security level can prevent the Request Return or Process Return menu options from displaying.

A return request is a list of item quantities you wish to return to the seller. As you add item quantities using the Quick Add fields, the item quantities display in the middle of the page. The list of item quantities can be preserved between user login sessions by clicking the 'Update Request' hyperlink. The row of an item quantity can be deleted from the list by checking the row's delete checkbox, then clicking the 'Update Request' hyperlink. Clicking the Process Request hyperlink generates a single return request for all item quantities you have listed.

Note: Return authorizations are processed in a similar manner as return requests.
