A cart is a list of items you are considering for purchase using Order/Quote/Status. For each item you add to the cart, you define the order quantity and required date of delivery. When a cart is processed it is converted into either an order or a quote. If a cart is not processed immediately, the cart must be updated to preserve changes before the cart page is closed. Updated cart selections are preserved between user login sessions. Items added to the cart can be deleted from the cart. A cart can also represent a change to an existing order or quote. A user only has one cart. A cart with line items must be processed or emptied before an order or quote can be selected for modification and put in the cart.
