From Configurator links in Customer Portal, you can process sales quotes and orders with configuration. You can configure or re-configure the existing configuration by clicking on Configure or Re-configure link available on the line respectively.
Using Configurator application, you can create standalone configuration, which can be associated with the Sales Order or Sales Quote.
Configurator group has following two options:
You can add items, which can be configured/re-configured. The cart can be updated, processed, or canceled.
For configured items, a 'Configure' hyperlink displays next to an item selection. You can click the Configure hyperlink to launch the Configurator application. This specialized application walks through a series of choices about the features you would like to include with the item. Once your choices are completed, a new configuration id and if defined in glovia G2 Configurator, smart part ID number displays.
It is also possible to reconfigure the already configured item. If reconfigured and submitted, a new configuration id is created.
Please note: Odometer for configuration IDs are generated in glovia G2. The odometers are generated before you launch the Configurator application. Even though you do not submit the configuration or cancel, odometer numbers are burnt and can not be reused.

Lets you search the configurations by partial configuration id, item number, or date range specified.
Once searched, if available, displays the configuration details like configuration ID, item details, description, date created, and configuration. You can further drill down using configuration ID link to see cart options or configuration link to see the existing configuration details.
