FSO - Machine Information

This page maintains field service orders for a selected machine. It also creates a quote for a field service agreement (FSO), converts the quote to a FSO, creates a new FSO, and deletes FSOs or quotes. Clicking the number of an FSO displays the field service order. If a PO Number and PO Line are entered, it displays on the invoice.

Decision Table – Override FSA and PO Required Checkboxes

The FSO Default area of the web page changes, based on the combined settings for the Override FSA and PO Required checkboxes.

The PO Required checkbox is located in Customer Workbench - Pricing tab in Company Tables in glovia G2.
The Override FSA checkbox is located in Field Service Engineer Setup in Company Tables in glovia G2.

Note: When the Override FSA and PO Required checkboxes are changed, the user must close down all web pages and log back in to see the effect of the new settings.

FSA exists	Override FSA ON	PO Required is ON or OFF	The Override FSA checkbox displays in the FSO. The PO Number hyperlink displays in the FSO. The PO Number and Line fields display in the FSO. The Override FSA checkbox in the FSO must be set on. A PO Number and line must be selected from the PO Number window.
FSA exists	Override FSA OFF	PO Required is ON or OFF	No Override FSA checkbox displays in the FSO. No PO Number hyperlink displays in the FSO. No PO Number and Line fields display in the FSO.
No FSA exists	Override FSA is not applicable	PO Required ON	Entering a PO number and line number is mandatory. There are no PO number list to select from.
No FSA exists	Override FSA is not applicable	PO Required OFF	Entering a PO number and line number is optional. There is no PO number list to select from.

Header

Machine	A number or identifier for a machine installed at a customer site. Source: Customer Machine Setup in Field Service Orders.
Description	A description associated with a machine.
Customer	A code or abbreviation representing a customer. Source: Customer Maintenance in System Tables.
Location	A customer installation site defined in Customer Site Location Maintenance in Company Tables or a service and repair site defined in Service Customer Site Maintenance in Service and Repair.
Building	The physical location of the machine at the customer site. Memo only. Source: Customer Machine Setup in Field Service Orders.
FSA ID	A code representing a field service agreement. Source: Field Service Agreement in Field Service Orders.
Setup Date	The setup date of the machine. Source: Customer Machine Setup in Field Service Orders.
Setup OPR	The login operator ID of a glovia G2 user who setup the customer machine record. Source: Customer Machine Setup in Field Service Orders.

Paging Area

Machine Open FSO

FSO	A code representing a field service order. Source: FSO - Machine Information in Service in Customer Portal.
Service Date	The date service was started by the field service engineer. Defaults to the creation date of the field service order.
Service Time	The time service was started by the field service engineer. Defaults to the creation time of the field service order.
PO	The customer purchase order number.
PO Line	The customer purchase order line number.
Status	The status of the field service order: Quote - The field service order is a quote. Open - The field service order is in process. Confirm - The field service order is completed.
FSA Overridden?	If yes, the field service agreement has been overridden. If no, the field service agreement has not been overridden. This checkbox only displays if a field service agreement exists for this field service order and the field service engineer is authorized to override the field service agreement using the Override FSA checkbox in FSO - Machine Information in Service in Customer Portal.
FSE ID	The field service engineer identifier. Source: Field Service Engineer Setup in Field Service Orders.
Convert to FSO?	If checked, the field service quote is converted to a field service order by clicking the New Quote hyperlink.
Delete?	If checked, the field service order or field service quote is deleted by clicking the Delete hyperlink.

FSO Default

Service Date	The date service was started by the field service engineer. Defaults to the creation date of the field service order.

Override FSA?	If checked, the field service agreement defined for this customer is overridden for this field service order. This checkbox only displays if the field service engineer is authorized to override field service orders.
PO Number	The customer purchase order number.
PO Search	PO Search displays the PO numbers and PO lines defined for this machine in the customer's 'Open' field service agreement, if one exists.
PO Line	The customer purchase order line number.

Hyperlinks

New Quote	This hyperlink creates a new field service quote.
New FSO	This hyperlink creates new field service orders.
Convert	This hyperlink converts field service quote marked for deletion to an open field service order.
Delete	This hyperlink deletes field service orders marked for deletion.
